Type locality: "Peperital (Villavicencio)", Departamento Meta, Colombia. Böhme and Bischoff, 1984, Bonn. Zool. Monogr., 19: 168, report the cataloged data as "Buenavista", Colombia.

Distribution

Eastern slopes of the Cordillera Oriental of the Departaments of Cundinamarca and Meta and from the Serranía de la Macarena, Colombia, 1000-1600 m elevation.
