Distribution
Cloud forests (1540-2100 m) on the Pacific slopes of the western Andes in Ecuador (Pichincha Province) and extreme southwestern Colombia (Department of Nariņo).
Comment
In the Eleutherodactylus unistrigatus group, Eleutherodactylus lacrimosus assembly, according to the original publication. See account by Lynch and Duellman, 1997, Univ. Kansas Mus. Nat. Hist. Spec. Publ., 23: 91-92, who place it in the Eleutherodactylus (Eleutherodactylus) martinicensis series, Eleutherodactylus unistrigatus group.
