Eleutherodactylus (Eleutherodactylus) cruciocularis Lehr, Lundberg, Aguilar, and von May, 2006, Herpetol. Monogr., 20: 106. Holotype: MUSM 18685, by original designation. Type locality: "Pampa Hermosa (10° 59′ 33.3″ S, 75° 25′ 58.0″ W) at 1540 m . . . Distrito de Huasahuasi, Provincia de Tarma, Departamento de Junín, Peru".

English Names

None noted.

Distribution

Known only from three localities (Pampa Hermosa, San Alberto, and 30 km [airline] northeast of Tingo María) at elevations of 1330-1850 m in the Selva Alta Ecoregion of central Andean Peru.

Comment

In the Eleutherodactylus (Eleutherodactylus) unistrigatus group, most similar to Eleutherodactylus flavobracatus, according to the original publication. In the Pristimantis (Pristimantis) unistrigatus species group of Hedges, Duellman, and Heinicke, 2008, Zootaxa, 1737: 128.
