Above 2000 m elevation in the vicinity of the type locality (Huila and Caquetá, Colombia).
Comment
Most similar and likely closely related to Eleutherodactylus chloronotus and Eleutherodactylus vicarius, according to the original publication. In the Pristimantis (Pristimantis) unistrigatus species group of Hedges, Duellman, and Heinicke, 2008, Zootaxa, 1737: 128.
