Hylodes calcaratus Boulenger, 1908, Ann. Mag. Nat. Hist., Ser. 8, 2: 516. Holotype: BMNH 1947.2.15.53 (formerly 1909.4.30.49), according to J.D. Lynch in Frost, 1985, Amph. Species World: 278. Type locality: "San Antonio", Departamento Valle de Cauca, Colombia.

Distribution

Cloud forests on the western slope of the Cordillera Occidental, from the department of Risaralda to Valle de Cauca, in western Colombia, 1400-2700 m elevation.
