Allobates ignotus Anganoy-Criollo, 2012, Zootaxa, 3308: 50. Holotype: ICN 55434, by original designation. Type locality: "finca Buena Vista, Zumbador river, 580 m, vereda Nueva Granada, Municipio La Jagua de Ibirico, Departamento Cesar, Colombia".
