Eleutherodactylus bromeliaceus Lynch, 1979, Misc. Publ. Mus. Nat. Hist. Univ. Kansas, 66: 12. Holotype: USNM 199731, by original designation. Type locality: "in bromeliads between Sapote and Suro Rancho, Provincia Morona-Santiago, Ecuador, 2622 m."

Distribution

Cloud forests on the Amazonian slopes of the Cordillera Oriental (1707-2622 m elevation), northern (1500-1600 m elevation) and western (1830 m elevation) slopes of the Cordillera del Cóndor, province of Zamora-Chinchipe, Loja, and the Cordillera de Cutucù (1700 m elevation), province of Morona-Santiago in southern Ecuador. Also recorded from Abra Pardo Miguel (2180 m elevation) in the northern part of the Cordillera Central, in the department of San Martin, Peru.
