Eleutherodactylus bipunctatus Duellman and Hedges, 2005, Copeia, 2005: 527. Holotype: KU 291638, by original designation. Type locality: "Peru, Departamento de Pasco, Provincia de Oxapampa, 0.7 km south and 4.5 km east (airline) of Oxapampa, approximately 10° 34′ S, 75° 24′ W, 2120 m elevation".

Distribution
Widely distributed in lowland and cloud forests (230-2320 m elevation) in the central Peruvian departments of Pasco, Junín, and Ucayali.
