Pristimantis bicantus Guayasamin and Funk, 2009, Zootaxa, 2220: 49. Holotype: QCAZ 19024, by original designation. Type locality: "Yanayacu Biological Station, trail to San Isidro Lakes (0° 36′ S, 77° 53′ W; 2150 m), Provincia Napo, Ecuador".

Known only from the Yanayacu Biological Station, 2100-2300 m elevation, Napo Province, Ecuador.
