Eleutherodactylus (Eleutherodactylus) bellona Lynch, 1992, Copeia, 1992: 826. Holotype: ICN 16330, by original designation. Type locality: "Finca El Palmar, 16 km SW Nutibara on the road to La Blanquita (Murri), región de Murri—Alto de Cuevas, corregimiento de Nutibara, Municipio de Frontino, Departamento de Antioquia, Colombia, 1960 m".

Distribution

Cloud forest in the region of the type locality on on the western slope of the Cordillera Occidental, Antioquia, Colombia, 1100-2000 m elevation.

Comment

In the Eleutherodactylus unistrigatus group, subgenus Eleutherodactylus, according to the original publication. In the Eleutherodactylus (Eleutherodactylus) martinicensis series, Eleutherodactylus unistrigatus group according to Lynch and Duellman, 1997, Univ. Kansas Mus. Nat. Hist. Spec. Publ., 23: 220. In the subgenus Pristimantis (Pristimantis) bellona species group of Hedges, Duellman, and Heinicke, 2008, Zootaxa, 1737: 118.
