Eleutherodactylus batrachites Lynch, 2003, Rev. Acad. Colomb. Cienc. Exact. Fis. Nat., 27: 457. Holotype: ICN 47887, by original designation. Type locality: "COLOMBIA, Departamento de Norte de Santander, municipio de Cucutilla, vereda Carrizal, sitio Sisavita, 2180—2250 msnm. 7° 13′ N, 72° 51′ W".

Distribution
Known only from the type locality in the northern part of the Cordillera Oriental of Colombia (Sisavita, 13′ N, 72° 51′ W, Departamento de Norte de Santander, Colombia, 2180-2250 m elevation).
Comment
Allied to Eleutherodactylus ganonotis and Eleutherodactylus viridis according to the original publication. In the Pristimantis (Pristimantis) unistrigatus species group of Hedges, Duellman, and Heinicke, 2008, Zootaxa, 1737: 128.
