Pristimantis bambu Arteaga-Navarro and Guayasamin, 2011, Zootaxa, 2876: 19. Holotype: QCAZ 46740, by original designation. Type locality: "La Libertad, Reserva Mazar (02.54804 S, 78.69741 W; 2976 m.a.s.l.), Cantón Azogues, Provincia Cañar, Ecuador; airline distance from Rivera is 6.6 km".

English Names

None noted.

Distribution

Known only from the Andes of southeastern Ecuador (Provincia Cañar) in the Reserva Mazar, at elevations of 2876-2989 m.

Comment

In the Pristimantis orestes group, close to Pristimantis simonbolivari and an unnamed species, according to the original publication.
