Eleutherodactylus actinolaimus Lynch and Rueda-Almonacid, 1998, Rev. Acad. Colomb. Cienc. Exact. Fis. Nat., 22: 288. Holotype: ICN 39941. Holotype: "COLOMBIA, Departamento de Caldas, Municipio de Samaná, corregimiento de Florencia, El Estadero, ca 6 km SW Florencia, 2000 m. s.n.m."

Known only from the vicinity of the type locality (El Estadero, Caldas, Colombia, 2000 m elevation).
