Syrrhopus juninensis Shreve, 1938, J. Washington Acad. Sci., 28: 406. Holotype: MCZ 22851, by original designation. Type locality: "Cascas near Huasihuasi, Department of Junin, Peru".

Elevations above 3000 m in the Cordillera Oriental of the Andes in the departments of Junín and Pasco, Peru.
