Phrynopus badius Lehr, Moravec, and Cusi, 2012, ZooKeys, 235: 57. Holotype: MUSM 31099, by original designation. Type locality: "Quebrada Yanachaga (10° 22.772′ S, 75° 27.717′ W), 3000 m elevation, Yanachaga-Chemillén National Park (Sector San Daniel), Distrito de Huancabamba, Provincia de Oxapampa, Departamento de Pasco, Peru".

Distribution

Known only from the type locality on a summit of a mountain ridge of the Cordillera Yanachaga (Quebrada Yanachaga, 3000 m elevation, Yanachaga-Chemillén National Park (Sector San Daniel), Distrito de Huancabamba, Provincia de Oxapampa, Departamento de Pasco, Peru).
