Eleutherodactylus madidi Padial, Gonzales-Álvarez, and De la Riva, 2005, Herpetologica, 61: 319. Holotype: MNK A7856, by original designation. Type locality: "Arroyo Huacataya, Serrania Eslabon, Area Natural de Manejo Integrado Madidid, Provincia Franz Tamayo, Departamento La Paz, Bolivia (14° 20′ 12″ S, 68° 05′ 57″ W), ca. 1500 m".

Comment
In the Eleutherodactylus discoidalis group according to the original publication. Heinicke, Duellman, and Hedges, 2007, Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. USA, 104: 10092-10097, removed this species from nominal Eleutherodactylus but did not provide a new generic name. Padial, Köhler, Muñoz-Saravia, and De la Riva, 2008, Zool. J. Linn. Soc., 152: 353-365, reported on acoustic variation among members of the "Eleutherodactylus" discoidalis group. See account by Padial, Chaparro, and De la Riva, 2008, Zool. J. Linn.
