Phrynopus illimani De la Riva and Padial In De la Riva, 2007, Herpetol. Monogr., 21: 264. Holotype: CBF 6000, by original designation. Type locality: "Rio Caballuni, 5 km from Totoral on the road to Cooperative, 15 de Agosto, Provincia Sud Yungas, Departamento de La Paz, Bolivia, 15° 36′ 48″ S, 67° 44′ 50″ W, 3594 m".

Distribution

Known only from the type locality on the north side of the Nevado Illimani, Provincia Sud Yungas, Departamento La Paz, Bolivia.
