Holoaden lüderwaldti Miranda-Ribeiro, 1920, Rev. Mus. Paulista, São Paulo, 12: 319. Syntypes: MZUSP 87 (2 specimens); MZUSP 87 (female) designated lectotype by Caramaschi and Pombal, 2006, Rev. Brasil. Zool., 23: 1262. Type locality: "Campos do Jordão", Brazil.

Southeastern Brazil.

Caramaschi and Pombal, 2006, Rev. Brasil. Zool., 23: 1261-1263, discussed the type series. Campos, Martins, Haddad, and Kasahara, 2012, Folia Biol., Prague, 58: 144-150, reported on karyology.
