Bryophryne hanssaueri Lehr and Catenazzi, 2009, S. Am. J. Herpetol., 4: 130. Holotype: MUSM 27567, by original designation. Type locality: "Acjanaco, Manu National Park (13°10′58.4″S, 71°37′11.7″W) at 3266 m elevation, Distrito de Cosñipata, Provincia de Paucartambo, Región Cusco, Peru".
