Bryophryne flammiventris Lehr and Catenazzi, 2010, Herpetologica, 66: 314. Holotype: MUSM 27613, by original designation. Type locality: "from 13° 05′ 37.6″ S, 73° 01′ 40.7″ W at 3800 m elevation next to road between Vilcabamba and Pampaconas, Distrito de Vilcabamba, Provincia de La Convención, Región Cusco, Peru".
