Eleutherodactylus saltator Taylor, 1941, Proc. Biol. Soc. Washington, 54: 89. Holotype: EHT-HMS 24301, by original designation; now FMNH 100116 according to Marx, 1976, Fieldiana, Zool., 69: 49. Type locality: "Omilteme, Guerrero, about 8,000 ft.", Mexico.

Distribution

Intermediate to high elevations (1500-3420 m) in the highlands of Guerrero, Mexico.

Comment

Removed from the synonymy of Craugastor mexicanus by Hedges, Duellman, and Heinicke, 2008, Zootaxa, 1737: 40, where it had been placed by Lynch, 2000, Rev. Acad. Colomb. Cienc. Exact. Fis. Nat., 24: 130.
