Eleutherodactylus rhyacobatrachus Campbell and Savage, 2000, Herpetol. Monogr., 14: 274. Holotype: MCZ 29112, by original designation. Type locality: "Quebrada Fortuna, 19 km N San Isidro de El General, 1700 m, Cantón Pérez-Zeledón, Provincia de San José, Costa Rica. This locality is in Tropical Premontane Rainforest at approximately 9° 28′ 25″ N, 83° 41′ 42″ W."
