Eleutherodactylus monnichorum Dunn, 1940, Proc. Acad. Nat. Sci. Philadelphia, 92: 107. Holotype: ANSP 21576, by original designation. Type locality: "Valley of the Velo, Finca Lerida, on the slope of Chiriqui volcano above Boquete, Chiriqui Province", Panama.
