Type locality: "Quebrada Los Chorros, 650 m, Aldea Santa Elena, near San Diego, Zacapa, Guatemala. This locality is located in the Rio Motagua Valley in premontane Dry Forest at about 14° 50′ N, 89° 47′ W."
