Eleutherodactylus anciano Savage, McCranie, and Wilson, 1988, Bull. S. California Acad. Sci., 87: 50-56. Holotype: KU 208999, by original designation. Type locality: "El Chagüitón (14° 30′ N, 88° 48′ W), elevation 1830 m, 18.8 km SE Corquín, Cordillera, [sic] de Celaque, Departamento de Ocotepque, Honduras".

Distribution

Atlantic versant near the continental divide in the Cordillera de Celaque in the Departamento de Olancho and Departamento de Colón, central Honduras, 1400-1900 m elevation.
