Type locality: "Monte Redondo, Buenavista", Departamento Cundinamarca or Meta, Colombia, 1000-1300 m. Locality regarded as questionable by Hedges, Duellman, and Heinicke, 2008, Zootaxa, 1737: 109.

Known only from the type locality (the sole specimen now lost) (Monte Redondo, Buenavista, Department of Cundinamarca or Meta, Colombia, 1000-1300 m elevation).
