Type locality: "Montagne d'Estrella, a due giornate circa da Rio-janeiro", Brazil. Given by Bokermann, 1966, Lista Anot. Local. Tipo Anf. Brasil.: 18, as "Serra da Estrela, Inhomirin, Rio de Janeiro", Brazil.
