Comment

In the Platymantis hazelae group according to the original publication. See photograph, map, description of geographic range and habitat, and conservation status (as Platymantis montana) in Stuart, Hoffmann, Chanson, Cox, Berridge, Ramani, and Young, 2008, Threatened Amph. World: 498. Siler, Welton, Siler, Brown, Bucol, Diesmos, and Brown, 2011, Check List, 7: 182-195, provided a range extension in Aurora Province, Luzon Island, Philippines, and suggested that earlier records from below 600 m are referrable to Platymantis polillensis.
