Platymantis nexipus Zweifel, 1975, Am. Mus. Novit., 2582: 4. Holotype: BPBM 1009, by original designation. Type locality: "St. Paul's, Baining Mountains, New Britain", Bismarck Archipelago, Papua New Guinea.

English Names

Baining Wrinkled Ground Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 105).

Distribution

Known only from the holotype from the Baining Mountains, New Britain Island, Bismarck Archipelago.
