Platymantis batantae Zweifel, 1969, Am. Mus. Novit., 2374: 2. Holotype: AMNH 74192, by original designation. Type locality: "Mt. Besar above Wailebet, elevation 1500 feet, Batanta Island, West Irian [Papua (New Guinea)], Indonesia".

English Names

Batanta Wrinkled Ground Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 104).

Distribution

Batanta and Waigeo Islands, Papua (New Guinea), Indonesia.
