Cochranella talamancae Taylor, 1952, Univ. Kansas Sci. Bull., 35: 781. Holotype: KU 30887, according to Duellman, 1977, Das Tierreich, 95: 195 (not KU 4143 as originally stated, 4143 is the R.C. Taylor field number). Type locality: "Moravia [de Chirripó, Cantón de Turrialba, Provincia Cartago], Costa Rica, Caribbean drainage". Savage, 1974, Rev. Biol. Tropical, 22: 98, commented on the type locality.

Hyalinobatrachium talamancae — Ruiz-Carranza and Lynch, 1991, Lozania, 57: 24.

English Names

Distribution

Limón Province, Costa Rica.

Comment

In the Hyalinobatrachium fleischmanni group, according to Ruiz-Carranza and Lynch, 1991, Lozania, 57: 1-30. Kubicki, 2006, Brenesia, 66: 25-30, reported on new collections of this species. Kubicki, 2007, Glass Frogs Costa Rica: 230-249, provided an account and detailed range map for Costa Rica.
