Centrolenella orocostalis Rivero, 1968, Mem. Soc. Cienc. Nat. La Salle, 28: 305. Holotype: MCZ 47501, by original designation. Type locality: "Cerro Platillón (Hacienda Picachitos), Cordillera del Interior, 1200 m., Estado Guárico, Venezuela".

Distribution

Humid montane forests of the Cordillera del Interior in the Cordillera de la Costa, Venezuela.

Comment

Removed from the synonymy of Hyalinobatrachium orientalis by Castroviejo-Fisher, Señaris, Ayarzagüena, and Vilà, 2009 "2008", Herpetologica, 64: 472-484 (where it had been placed by Cannatella and Lamar, 1986, J. Herpetol., 20: 311), and who note a related, but unnamed species from the Cordillera del Litoral.
