Centrolenella bergeri Cannatella, 1980, Proc. Biol. Soc. Washington, 93: 719. Holotype: KU 182363, by original designation. Type locality: "58.1 km SW Villa Tunari (by road), 1980 m, Departamento Cochabamba, Bolivia (65° 50′ W, 17° 11′ S)".

English Names

Berger's Glass Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 47).

Distribution

Amazonian slopes of Andes from the Departamento Cuzco, Peru, southwards to the Departamento Santa Cruz, Bolivia, 300-1980 m elevation.

Herpetol., 14: 29, for access to literature. See brief account by Köhler, 2000, Bonn. Zool. Monogr., 48: 90-91. Castroviejo-Fisher, Padial, Chaparro, Aguayo-Vedia, and De la Riva, Zootaxa, 2143: 24-44, reported the advertisement call and corrected previous identifications and made cogent comparisons.
