Hylella parvula Boulenger, 1895 "1894", Proc. Zool. Soc. London, 1894: 646. Syntypes: BMNH 88.2.7.32 (Lages), 93.12.22.16 (Theresopolis), according to Duellman, 1977, Das Tierreich, 95: 192; BMNH 88.2.7.32 designated lectotype by Heyer, 1985, Pap. Avulsos Zool., São Paulo, 36: 3. Type locality: "Lages, Santa Catharina" and "Theresopolis" (Rio de Janeiro, not Queçaba), Brazil, according to Heyer, 1985, Pap. Avulsos Zool., São Paulo, 36: 3, who noted that the Theresopolis specimen represents Centrolenella uranoscopa; lectotype from "Lages, Santa Catharina", Brazil.

Hyalinobatrachium parvulum — Ruiz-Carranza and Lynch, 1991, Lozania, 57: 24.

Vitreorana parvula — Guayasamin, Castroviejo-Fisher, Trueb, Ayarzagüena, Rada, and Vilà, 2009, Zootaxa, 2100: 39.

English Names

Lages Glass Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 47).

Distribution

Santa Catarina, southeastern Brazil.

Comment

In the Hyalinobatrachium parvulum group, according to Ruiz-Carranza and Lynch, 1991, Lozania, 57: 1-30. Cisneros-Heredia and McDiarmid, 2007, Zootaxa, 1572: 82, excluded this species from Hyalinobatrachium and it is therefore listed here as "Hyalinobatrachium" parvulum to denote that it is not formally attached to any genus within Centroleninae.
