Avulsos Zool., São Paulo, 36: 3, who noted that the Theresopolis specimen represents Centrolenella uranoscopa; lectotype from "Lages, Santa Catharina", Brazil.

Comment
In the Hyalinobatrachium parvulum group, according to Ruiz-Carranza and Lynch, 1991, Lozania, 57: 1-30. Cisneros-Heredia and McDiarmid, 2007, Zootaxa, 1572: 82, excluded this species from Hyalinobatrachium and it is therefore listed here as "Hyalinobatrachium" parvulum to denote that it is not formally attached to any genus within Centroleninae.
