Cochranella susatamai Ruiz-Carranza and Lynch, 1995, Lozania, 62: 9. Holotype: ICN 18641, by original designation. Type locality: "Departamento del Tolima, municipio de Falan, finca 'El Capricho', por carretera 1 Km. antes de Falan, vertiente oriental Cordillera Central, 5° 3′ latitud N, 74° 58′ W de Greenwich, 900 m", Colombia.

Rulyrana susatamai — Guayasamin, Castroviejo-Fisher, Trueb, Ayarzagüena, Rada, and Vilà, 2009, Zootaxa, 2100: 34.

English Names

None noted.

Distribution

Eastern slope of the Cordillera Central in Colombia, in the departments of Antioquia, Huila, Caldas, and Tolima, 900-1650 m elevation.

Comment

In the Cochranella spinosa group; most similar to Cochranella adiazeta, according to the original publication. Gutiérrez-C., 2005, Herpetol. Rev., 36: 73, reported on a the distribution and a range extension into the northern part of the central Andes of Colombia. Rada and Guayasamin, 2008, Pap. Avulsos Zool., São Paulo, 48: 99, provided the record for Huila, Colombia.
