Cochranella spilota Ruiz-Carranza and Lynch, 1997, Rev. Acad. Colomb. Cienc. Exact. Fis. Nat., 21: 547. Holotype: ICN 35155, by original designation. Type locality: "Departamento de Caldas, municipio de Samaná, corregimiento Florencia, sitio 'Rancho Quemado', 1940 m.", Colombia.

Distribution

On the eastern slope of the Cordillera Central of Colombia in the Department of Caldas (municipality of Samaná), 1850-1940 m elevation.

In the Cochranella ocellata group according to the original publication.
