Centrolenella prasina Duellman, 1981, Occas. Pap. Mus. Nat. Hist. Univ. Kansas, 88: 6. Holotype: KU 169693, by original designation. Type locality: "Río Calima, 1.5 km (by road) west of Lago Calima, 1230 m, Departamento de Valle, Colombia. (4° 00′ N, 76° 35′ W)".

Cochranella prasina — Ruiz-Carranza and Lynch, 1991, Lozania, 57: 23.

Nymphargus prasinus — Cisneros-Heredia and McDiarmid, 2007, Zootaxa, 1572: 35.

English Names

Rio Calima Cochran Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 47).

Distribution

On the Pacific slope of the Cordillera Occidental in the departments of Valle del Cauca, northweards through Chocó and Risaralda to Antioquia, Colombia, 900-1450 m elevation.
