Nymphargus laurae Cisneros-Heredia and McDiarmid, 2007, Zootaxa, 1572: 37. Holotype: USNM 288453, by original designation. Type locality: "'Loreto, Upper Rio Napo' (= Loreto region, near the town of Loreto) (ca. 77º 20′ S, 00º 40′W, ca. 500 m elevation), lower slopes of the Sumaco Volcano, on the Cordillera Oriental, eastern slopes of the Andes, Provincia de Orellana, República del Ecuador".

Distribution

Known only fron the type locality (near the town of Loreto, on the eastern slopes of the Cordillera Oriental, Province of Orellana, Ecuador, 500 m elevation).
