Eupsophus nahuelbutensis Ortiz and Ibarra-Vidal, 1992, Acta Zool. Lilloana, 41: 75. Holotype: MZUC 16822, by original designation. Type locality: "el sector de Pichinahuel, Cordillera de Nahuelbuta, en el interior del Parque Nacional Nahuelbuta, Provincia de Malleco, Chile, 1200 m."
