Cochranella phryxa Aguayo-Vedia and Harvey, 2006, Herpetologica, 62: 324. Holotype: CBF 778, by original designation. Type locality: "approximately 20 km west of Población de la Cascada (Territorio Comunitario de Oregen y Reserve de la Biosfera Pilón Lajas), La Paz Department, Bolivia (15° 22′ 37″ S, 67° 12′ 4″ W), 1000 m."

Distribution

Known only from the type locality in cloud forest (15° 22′ 37″ S, 67° 12′ 4″ W), La Paz Department, Bolivia, 1000 m elevation.

Comment

In the Cochranella granulosa group and most similar to Cochranella euknemos and Cochranella resplendens according to the original publication. Cisneros-Heredia and McDiarmid, 2007, Zootaxa, 1572: 43, suggested that this species may actually be a synonym of Cochranella resplendens.
