Centrolene sanchezi Ruiz-Carranza and Lynch, 1991, Lozania, 58: 22. Holotype: ICN 24293, by original designation. Type locality: "Departamento de Caquetá, municipio de Florencia, vereda Gabinete, 3.1 Km por carretera abajo del Alto Gabinete, vertiente oriental, Cordillera Oriental, 1° 4′ latitud N, 75° 4′ W de Greenwich, 2190 m.", Colombia.

English Names

Sanchez's Giant Glass Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 46).

Distribution

Known only from the type locality on the eastern slope of the Cordillera Oriental in Caquetá, southern Colombia.

Comment

In the Centrolene peristictum group, similar to Centrolene peristictum and Centrolene pipilatum, according to the original publication.
