Centrolenella hesperia Cadle and McDiarmid, 1990, Proc. Biol. Soc. Washington, 103: 753. Holotype: FMNH 236200, by original designation. Type locality: "near the basecamp on trail between Monte Seco and Chorro Blanco, about 2.5 km (airline) NE of Monte Seco, Río Zaña, Department of Cajamarca, Peru, 1800 m."

English Names

Basecamp Giant Glass Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 46).

Distribution

Forested slopes at elevations of 1500-1800 m elevation on the Pacific slope of the Cordillera Central in the department of Cajamarca in northern Peru.
