Eupsophus contulmoensis Ortiz, Ibarra-Vidal, and Formas, 1989, Proc. Biol. Soc. Washington, 102: 1031. Holotype: MZUC 17141, by original designation. Type locality: "Contulmo, Malleco Province, Nahuelbuta Range, alt. 700 m, 15 km W (by road) of Purén, Chile".

Distribution
Known only from the type locality (Contulmo National Monument, Bio-Bio Province, Chile), 50-350 m elevation.
