Cochranella ramirezi Ruiz-Carranza and Lynch, 1991, Lozania, 59: 13. Holotype: ICN 19684, by original designation. Type locality: "Departamento de Antioquia, municipio de Frontino, vereda Venados, Parque Natural Nacional "Las Orquídeas", quebrada "Alto Bonito", flanco occidental de la Cordillera Occidental, 820 m.", Colombia.

English Names

Ramirez's Cochran Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 47).

Distribution

Western slopes of the Western Andes in the departments of Antioquia and Chocó, Colombia, 20-830 m.

Comment

In the Cochranella granulosa group according to the original publication. Guayasamin, Castroviejo-Fisher, Trueb, Ayarzagüena, Rada, and Vilà, 2009, Zootaxa, 2100: 58, regarded this species as incertae sedis within Centroleninae.
