Known only from Cerro Duida, Amazonas, Venezuela, ca. 2140 m elevation.
Comment
Possibly in Hyalinobatrachium; see comment under Hyalinobatrachium auyantepuianum. Placed in the Cochranella spinosa group by Savage, 2002, Amph. Rept. Costa Rica: 365. Señaris and Ayarzagüena, 2005, Rev. Taxonom. Fam. Centrolenidae de Venezuela: 108-112, provided a review of the morphology, natural history, and range of this species. Guayasamin, Castroviejo-Fisher, Trueb, Ayarzagüena, Rada, and Vilà, 2009, Zootaxa, 2100: 55, regarded this species as incertae sedis within Centroleninae.
