Telmatobufo australis Formas, 1972, J. Herpetol., 6: 1. Holotype: IZUA 934-A, by original designation; destroyed by fire on 3 December 2007. Type locality: "Pelada mountains (Valdivia Province)", Chile.

English Names

Pelado Mountains False Toad (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 85).

Distribution

Western and eastern slopes of the Coastal Range, in Valdivia and Osorno Provinces, Chile, 0-1000 m elevation.
