Bufo angusticeps amatolica Hewitt, 1925, Rec. Albany Mus., 3: 360. Syntypes: 13 specimens including AMG 4044, 4922, according to XXX; now in PEM. Type locality: "Amatola Range, near Hogsback, . . . . on the summit of the range at about 5,500 feet", Eastern Cape Province, Rep. South Africa.

Distribution

Moist upland grasslands in the Winterberg--Amatola Escarpment, Eastern Cape Province, Rep. South Africa, 1400-1800 m elevation.
