Chaunus tacana Padial, Reichle, McDiarmid, and De la Riva, 2006, Zootaxa, 1278: 59. Holotype: MNK-A 7188, by original designation. Type locality: "Huairuro (14° 19′ 28.2″ S, 68° 05′ 36.1″ W), path from San José de Uchupiamonas to Apolo, Serranía Eslabón, Madidi National Park, Province Franz Tamayo, Department La Paz, Bolivia".

English Names

None noted.

Distribution

Known only from two nearby localities in the Serranía Eslabón at 1500 m elevation in humid montane forest, Madidi National Park, Provincia Franz Tamayo, Departamento La Paz, Bolivia.

Comment

In the Chaunus veraguensis group according to the original publication.
