Alsodes tumultuosus Veloso, Iturra-Constant, and Galleguillos-G., 1979 "1978", Physis, Buenos Aires, 38: 95. Holotype: DBCUCH 143, by original designation. Type locality: "La Parva 2.600 m. Santiago de Chile (Lat. 33° 31′ S, Long. 70° 20′ W)", Chile.

La Parva Spiny-chest Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 70).

Distribution

Known only from the type locality (La Parva, Santiago de Chile, Chile).
