Bufo rostratus Noble, 1920, Bull. Am. Mus. Nat. Hist., 42: 445. Holotype: AMNH 1359, by original designation. Type locality: "Santa Rita Creek, fourteen miles north of the village of Mesopotamia in the southern part of the Department of Antioquia, Colombia".

English Names

Mesopotamia Beaked Toad (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 45).

Distribution

Knownn only from the type locality on the western slope of the Cordillera Occidental in the Department of Antioquia, Colombia.
